On Monday, celebrated Kuah & my birthday with Soo Hui @ Marina Square, Suki-ya. It was like a steam boat buffet restaurant but instead, you call it shabu-shabu/ sukiyaki. Haha. The food were nicely arranged, ambience was good and you can top it up with excellent service. It's cheap too, we had dnner there for about $24. I sound like I'm advertising for the place neh? Anyway, the beef was soooo good. After cooking it, you dap it into with raw egg and gobble it down in one mouth. Damnnnnnn shiok. Soo's recommendation.

And halfway through dinner, or was it before dinner was served...memory failing me. Soo pulled out 2 Lee Hwa boxes and said it was our present! Super uber shiok. Those 2 diamond necklace burnt quite a hole in her pocket but we 3 muskeeters(spell?) each have a diamond necklace now! (:



No more presents for the next 10 years. haha! 10 years later, we will buy each other feicui already...old liao. And maybe GOLD. Our mothers say gold is more valuable and can be re-sold. lol.

On Wednesday, was supposedly going to have dinner with Yanling only. I thought the rest of the girls were really not coming cause I was finishing my dinner already and didn't see them. Then, I saw the waitress setting up a table beside our table. Then Jia just strolled in and took a seat, before stretching her neck like an ostrich looking for us. But I had already saw her! ahaha. A ruined surprise but it was very funny and I still like it! So, the rest of the girls came (Yuanting still tried to trick me tt Kit was not coming when the table had 5 chairs -.-!) and we had dinner, camwhore and chat chat. I can't wait for december!

On my birthday, my parents bought me diamond earrings! They wanted to buy me a necklace but soo had already bought. hehe.

I am half awake, just woke up from a nap when they came back.

Afterwhich, faster change and go retaurant eat eat.

Supposedly going for a buffet @ Holiday Inn but it was full house so we went to Kia Hiang, a chinese restaurant. hehe.

The sister was working so she missed all the good food!

The GuiFei tofu is super nice, my mum says the 'inside' tofu is made of soymilk.

After dinner, went for a stroll at Labrador Park and enjoy the evening breeze. It was quite beautiful, you could see the other side of the shore, lit with pretty lights. But my lousy camera was unable to capture the breathtaking (ok, not exactly) scene. -.-

Went home and waited for my sister to get off work so we could get the cake!

Received a lot of well wishes from friends. I really have to say this. Dicky's birthday msg was the corrrrniest. I really LOL when I say it. "Happy Birthday, my 7 year friend." Must emphasize on the 7 year sia, when 2/3 of it were lost years. Yuppp...meeeeet up soon during decemberrrrrr! Another funny msg was soo's one. I think she bth already so she msg me at 1145 happy birthday so that she could go to sleep. lol! This year was great and I love it!

I feel like my birthday is already over! Haha. This week, I have celebrated my 'birthday' twice. Monday with kuah & soo, Wednesday with the SB girls.

remember november

Don't you think the word November offers a tinge of mystery, of sweetness? I love november for various reasons. Of course, I'm celebrating my 20th soon but November also brings us a step closer to the well-awaited holidays. Next week would be full of dinners with good friends! Kind of like a booster before exams?

Tuition for Sean ended quite abruptly on Tuesday. I was supposedly going to have another session with him next Thurs to view his papers but we reckoned that he can just give me a call. I'm not going to see Sean for 2 whole months! Acturlly, I cannot imagine not seeing him anymore. He's like my first student and its kinda special. Moreover, I've taught him since P2? My boy's going to be P4 next year. The phrase "Time flies" is very apt for description.

Edison is still going to continue his lessons once a week, till the 8th lesson and we are going to stop for the year too.

Now, its time for me to concentrate on Japanese. 2 weeks before Japanese exams, technically one week only, since Composition is starting next thursday...haha!

2 weekends, 2 runs. Damn tired, timings sucked. Need to train! (Soo say I always NATO. HAHA. ok...i think so too.) Let me settle tuition, jap exam and nus exam first...

It's been a week in the new house now, its very quiet and concusive to study, just that I get distracted by the laptop, new dramas! I kinda get used to the elevator already, and my house is so convenient, just take the lift down and the bus stop's right in front. The perks of living in an apartment. (:

Tuition's been ok, Edison kissed my hand for no reason, Sean's been asking me a lot of stuffs like "What music do you like to listen?" etc but he never fails to say "I kill you" on every lesson. I am kind of used to Edison stoning or throwing tantrum in tuition, I just maintain calm and he will be ok in 10 minutes already. Apparently, he's still seeing a shrink. I don't know why, didn't probe.

This holidays, I'm going to take a gooooood rest. No more working, no more rushing to tuition after working. Maybe its time for some catching up. But, kuah & liow are flying off in dec, boo. Nevermind, maybe some bonding time with the family. (:

I cut my fringe. Initially wanted to grow till I can tie them all together to the back but it was too bothersome. I looked extremely messy. Acturlly its only the fringe but I think I look different. The fringe is difficult to maintain. Haha. Musings of a vainpot.
